On 6 March 2026, the FORESIGHT Project held its 18-Month Progress Meeting at Politecnico di Milano to review the current status of the experimental activities, discuss technical challenges related to the fiber optic sensing setup, and define the next steps of the research. The meeting focused on improving the measurement configuration, enhancing data reliability, testing alternative sensor layouts, and strengthening the structural identification framework. The participants also reflected on the broader potential of the project outcomes to support more advanced data analysis and future damage detection approaches.
